Tom Tucker

Tom Tucker has been coaching youth baseball for over 15 years, with experience levels ranging from T-Ball to 17u College Showcase teams. Tom brings a strong focus on fundamentals and a concentration in personal and athletic development. Many of Coach Tucker’s former players have gone off to have successful high school and college baseball careers.

Scott Komaromy

Scott Komaromy is a 2001 graduate of Dundee-Crown High School where he competed in football, basketball and baseball.  He earned All-Conference and All-Area honors on multiple occasions in baseball and football and selected as the Daily Herald's Male Athlete of the Year for 2000-01.  Scott, a four year varsity baseball starter, set 8 baseball records and culminated his high school career in 2001 with a trip to the state quarterfinals.  Scott continued playing baseball at the collegiate level for the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York where he lettered in baseball all four years.

Joey Maurer

Joey Maurer is a graduate of Crystal Lake South High School. In 1993 he led his team down to state compiling a 13-2 record with a school record leading 159 strikeouts and was named the 1993 Northwest Herald Player of the Year. He was also an All-State selection in  1993. After south he went to McHenry County College were he primarily pitched but also played the outfield. In 1995 he played for team U.S.A . in Columbia, South America were along with his team won the bronze medal. After MCC he went to play for Bellevue University a team that has been to the NAIA World Series the last 20 years in a row. After his college years he signed with the Shaumburg Flyers only to be traded two days later to the Quebec City Capitales in Canada.

Jerry Rivera

My name is Coach Jerry Rivera.  I’m very passionate about baseball. I enjoy coaching youth baseball and using my experiences from the baseball teams I played on and my military career.  I’ve been with the Bombers Organization as a Coach since the 2015 season.  I recently completed my Master's degree in psychology and believe that baseball is truly a game of skill and psychology. I look forward to seeing you on the field. 

Greg Sibigtroth

Gregg Sibigtroth has been coaching at the Travel and High School level for the last 17 years.  When he began coaching at the travel level, his teams were always successful, winning many National Championships.  Many of his players have gone on to play at the college and pro levels.

Gregg was also the Varsity Assistant at Hampshire High School for 3 years (1999-2001), and was a major reason they were Conference Champions in 1999 with a 25 win season.  It was the first Conference Championship for Hampshire High School since 1981. 

Gregg Sibigtroth has been a Crystal Lake Bombers coach for the last 5 years, coaching the 18U team, before taking over the job as Head 12u-13U Coach.  He was the original owner of Grand Slam USA in Lake in the Hills, before selling it and opening up Players Choice Academy with his son, Matt Sibigtroth, and his business partner Joe DiMaggio.

Coach Sibigtroth knows what it takes for the players to excel at the next level, and expects his players to hustle at all times and treat the game with respect.

14U Ted Fijalkowski

Coach Fijalkowski graduated from West Chicago HS as an All Area Pitcher, Area MVP, and DuPage County ERA and strikout leader. He then played at College of DuPage where he was an All Conference player. After COD he transferred to Leo University in Florida and played in two DII Colleges.

Coach Fijalkowski has learned from some of the best in the game including Jim Morris (former Team USA pitching coach), Mo Drabowski (former MLB Pitching Coach), and Jim Fannin (one of the leading Professional Sports Psycholigists), just to name a few.

Matt Sibigtrot

Matt Sibigtroth is a 2001 graduate of Hampshire High School where he was a 4 year varsity starter. While at Hampshire, Matt was a 4 year All Conference First Team and 3 year All Area First Team selection. Matt was voted team MVP all 4 years.

 He was draft pick of the Chicago White Sox in 2001 after he graduated from Hampshire.  Matt then played college baseball for the Kishwaukee College Kougars where he was a starting mid-infielder both years. He was in the top of most offensive categories while at Kish and was named to the All Region IV Team because of it.  Matt was again drafted by the Chicago White Sox after his freshman year at Kishwaukee in 2002.  Matt then transferred to the University of Dayton, where again he was a starting mid-infielder and one of their leaders at the plate.

Coach Sib has also coached at the High School level as a Varsity Asst. at Marian Central Catholic HS under former Head Coach Gregg Wikierak, and was a part of their championship team in 2005 that went 30-8 and made a trip down state which made them one of the Elite Eight teams in the state.

Coach Sibigtroth specializes in hitting, fielding, and pitching while running camps at PCA, doing individual private lessons, and working with other travel teams in the off season.  Many of Coach Sib's students have gone on to play College and Professional Baseball.

Lee Maurer

Lee Maurer, Played baseball at Crystal Lake South as a 2B & OF Played MCC 1 year as a P & OF Coaching Experience: Lee has been coaching the last 13 years, 7 of those years as a travel coach - 6 years for the Lake In the Hills Thunder and one year as an assistant to the 13U Bombers. During the 6 years as a head coach for the Thunder, he accumulated several Championships - being the only Thunder team to win the MSBL and made it to the Championship game at Cooperstown Allstar Village. They had 5 players that were part of the 17'/18' State Championship teams (CL South/Huntley), 4 of which that moved on to the next level.
